Modeling a curtain using Maya |

Hi all,
In this tutorial, we will learn on how to model a curtain using Maya 2010 in a simple and easy way.
- Open Autodesk Maya 2010 and we will do a tutorial on modeling a curtains in an easy and simple way.

- First, we go to Create --> NURBS Primitives --> Plane

- Click once on the area and notice a plane shape was created. Press F to get it in focus.
- Go to Shade --> Smooth Shade All.
- Then, select the object and press Ctr + A to open the shape properties panel.
- Rename the shape and change the Patches U and V as below. Click on Select once you done.

- See the changes on your curtain shape.

- Next, right click mouse and select the Hull option as below.

- The line will change to purple color which is ready to be modified as curtain.
- Select the Moving Tool and select the three lines as shown below.

- Move the line upward and it will create a shape of curtain.
- Once you done, Right mouse click and select the Object Mode back.

- Now you have a curtain. You can try it using deference settings to get your own curtain shape and wave.

- Don’t forget to save your work. Go to File --> Save Scene.
- Save it to your folder. That’s all.
